Vassar College is a participating institution of the Tuition Refund Plan (TRP), which is administrated by A.W.G. Dewar, Inc. This plan is an optional insurance program that would enhance Vassar's refund policy, as published in our College catalogue, in the event of an unexpected leave from Vassar due to a medical illness or mental health reasons. The tuition refund plan offers an 80% benefit for withdrawal. This money can, in turn, be used to repay any education loan or grant which must be returned in the event that a student withdraws from the college.
As Vassar is a participating institution in this plan, this provides you with the opportunity to purchase this insurance in the event that it may be needed to provide some financial recovery to you. All students will be billed for the Tuition Insurance on their student account. If you would like to waive the insurance, Students click here and enter your vassar email and email password and follow the instructions to waive the tuition insurance. Once you waive, the fee will be removed from your student account. Deadline to waive is August 10, 2016.
Tuition Waiver link will be available on July 1, 2016.
